Nick Hill P2C Students- UofT

For the last six years Nick Hill has been a campus staff member with Power to Change at the University of Toronto. He disciples and trains Christian university students to know what and why they believe and how to share their faith. He loves to spend time with students of different worldviews to learn, to discuss, and to talk about Jesus. Nick organizes many large and small events at U of T for the purpose of clearing away misunderstandings and roadblocks that keep students and professors from engaging with Jesus Christ. Some of these events have included: “Is it True? Getting to the Heart of the World’s Religions”, “Why? Exploring Life’s Key Questions?”, “Bad Arguments Against True Religion”, “God and Reason: A Christian Perspective”, and “Has Science Made God Irrelevant?”

Nick holds a certificate of Christian studies from Covenant Bible College and a BA in Christianity and Culture from Trinity Western University. He has studied at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Briercrest Seminary, and Yale Divinity School (summer studies).

When Nick isn’t on campus, he enjoys teaching at practical training events like the RZIM Canada Summer School. Before working at Power to Change, he spent almost five years ministering to unchurched multiethnic inner city youth in Toronto as the Director of the Rexdale Youth Centre (based out of Rexdale Alliance Church). Previous to this he spent many summers across Canada working in camp ministry.

When not engaged in dialoguing with others about the deeper issues of life, Nick enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and getting out on the water. He lives in Toronto and is married to Jen and they have four children: Grace, Iain, Jacob, and Kate.
